1. Dinner Train
The Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad spent the past two years rebuilding four of its dining cars into private compartments that give groups of two to six people a fully enclosed private room with big picture window. Unlike other trains across the world that practice “Railroad Seating” whereby every seat is filled, often by parties that do not know each other, the new “Private Dining” gives Elegant Dinner Train guests a private atmosphere like none other. As the train departs the station around 5:30 pm, your server will bring an appetizer plate, a cup of soup and then your choice of one of five preselected entrees. A little later you will delight in a generous slice of a gourmet dessert. Your dinner train ride ticket includes coffee, iced tea and lemonade.
2. Wine & Cheese Train
This train ride is perfect for a special afternoon to relax! The Original Wisconsin Wine & Cheese Train operates every Sunday at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., and features a tasting of four Wisconsin-produced wines and a variety of Wisconsin cheeses. The train gives guests an incredible view from the second floor of the only glass-topped Sky Parlour in regular service.
3. Bed & Breakfast Train
All aboard America’s only moving bed & breakfast train! Board the restored train and enjoy a memorable evening on a comfortable, scenic train ride. With only six rooms, the train sells out every night, so reservations are a must.

The Pizza Train is the most popular family train ride! Come dine on pizza fresh from the onboard kitchen while taking in the beautiful scenery of Wisconsin’s Northwoods.
5. Santa Train
Make a magical holiday memory with your family aboard the Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad’s Christmas train! Meet Santa and enjoy holiday cookies. Your ticket aboard the Santa Pizza Train includes the 2-hour train ride, a personal pizza and your first beverage, a visit with Santa, a visit to his private car for a number of great photo opportunities, and a holiday cookie with hot chocolate on the return trip. Make your reservations early for this family favorite. The Santa Train consistently sells out very early.
