What do you love about Minnesota? The landmarks? Festivals and events? Local hangouts? Lakes and green space? Whatever it is, Explore Minnesota Tourism wants you to share it.
Last week, along with Governor Mark Dayton, Explore Minnesota launched its new campaign, Only in Minnesota, inviting others to share what they think makes the state so special by posting with the hashtag #OnlyinMN on social media sites. By using this hashtag, photos, posts and tweets can be pulled into Explore Minnesota’s website and shared across its channels, spreading the good word about our state to a larger audience.
With Explore Minnesota’s increased budget, they’re able to extend this effort further, reaching audiences in 14 states and provinces, making it the largest travel marketing campaign in the state’s history. In addition to the user-driven social media movement, the campaign will be extended through TV, outdoor and digital ads.
