On the cover of this year’s Jan./Feb. issue of Minnesota Monthly, you’ll see the “Sea Stack” of Tettegouche State Park. The rock formation had long jutted out of Lake Superior—until a late-2019 storm flattened it. Its demise served as a reminder: Get out there while the getting’s good. Don’t let winter keep you inside.

Or, y’know, do. It is pretty cold, after all. That’s why our 2020 Winter To-Do List has a section for indoor pursuits—in addition to brisk, cozy, wide-ranging outdoor activities and 46 can’t-miss events across the state.

The point is that you’re not stuck at home. We’ve broken our guide into sections for easy perusal. Keep scrolling, and get out—or in—there!
