I never considered pumpkins art until I made it to the Minnesota State Fairgrounds this past weekend—and I was certainly glad I brought my camera. At Pumpkin Nights, themed setups took Jack-o’-lanterns to the next-level. More than 3,000 pumpkins lit up a half-mile walking path, also featuring a bean-bag toss and face painting. I concluded my night sitting on a haystack, watching a screening of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. In the same vicinity as the movie, food trucks lined the pathway, offering drinks, popcorn, tater tots, and more.
