The first Friday of each month brings forth Bryant Lake Bowl & Theater’s horrid tribute to “monster science.” The Uptown hub kicks off its 2023 run of this show by the esteemed “Reverend Matt” on Thursday, with a multimedia exploration of the lore of a certain fuzzy, friendly species of monster: the Muppets.

What: “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner?” at Roxy’s Cabaret

The Twin Cities’ magnificent, recently opened performance space for drag shows, Roxy’s, in Loring Park, hosts an ongoing series of dinner shows celebrating the divas, from Barbra Streisand to Whitney Houston and others. At the Main Cinema, this bloody double feature includes “Blood for Dracula” and “Flesh for Frankenstein,” two films made in poor taste by Paul Morrissey. The night’s special guest is beloved local hip-hop artist Nur-D.
