Vintage for a Cause

What: Vintage Fall Crawl

The Vintage Fall Crawl will feature 12 female-owned vintage shops throughout the Twin Cities. Passports purchases will provide 15% off at each participating shop, and 100% of the proceeds from passport sales will be donated to Women’s Advocates, an organization supporting survivors of domestic violence. 

Palaye Royal

Canadian American rock band Palaye Royal continues its North American Tour at 7th St. Entry with opener Mod Sun, bringing to the stage their energetic fusion of brit-pop, punk, and glam rock.  

Glenn Miller Orchestra

What: Glenn Miller Orchestra

Where: Paramount Center for the Arts, 913 W. St. Germain St., St. Cloud 

Originally formed in 1938, the Glenn Miller Orchestra is regarded as one of the greatest swing dance bands of all time. Members will continue their tour in St. Cloud this week.  

Comedy Night

What: Michael Rapaport Special Presentation

Where: Rick Bronson’s House of Comedy, 408 E. Broadway, Bloomington 
 

New York native Michael Rapaport wears many hats: actor, comedian, director, and podcast host. He will be performing live at the Mall of America this week. 

Spooky Ship 

What: Duluth’s Haunted Ship
When: Oct. 6-31, 6:30-10 p.m.
Where: Duluth Entertainment Convention Center, 350 Harbor Drive, Duluth

Starting this week, the Irvin ship in Duluth will turn ghostly for all of October. Visitors beware: rumor has it that this historic ship is actually haunted!  

Disco Dreams 

What: Roller Disco
When: Oct. 7-8, various times
Where: 311 Broadway Ave. South Rochester

Boogie the night away at this outdoor roller rink in Downtown Rochester, complete with groovy tunes and party lighting. 

Art and Entertainment 

What: St. Paul Art Crawl
When: Oct. 7-9, various times
Where: Lowertown St. Paul 

Support local artists by visiting their studios in Lowertown St. Paul. Other activities include live music and food at Station 81 Drink and Eatery at Union Depot. 

Whole Lotta Zeppelin 

What: Get the Led Out
When: Oct. 8, 8-10 p.m.
Where: Mayo Civic Center, 30 Civic Center Drive S.E., Rochester

Philadelphia-based Led Zeppelin cover band, Get the Led Out, performs for all the bluesy ’70s nostalgia. 

Giant Pumpkin Weigh Off at Stillwater Harvest Fest.

Held the second week of October every year, Stillwater Harvest Fest is an annual tradition jam-packed with live music, a chili cook-off, and the Giant Pumpkin Weigh Off. 

Mankato River Ramble

This annual Mankato tradition returns for another year, with routes exhibiting some of Minnesota’s most scenic landscapes, from Minneopa State Park to Lake Crystal. Live bands and refreshments will be at the rest stops as well.
