Queer Me Out: Take a Stance

Where: W Minneapolis – The Foshay, 821 Marquette Ave., Minneapolis

This speaker series highlights influential members of the LGBTQ+ community, and this installment features the general manager of the Saloon, the executive director of the Queerspace Collective, the executive director of Quorum, and the founder and CEO of Flip Phone Events.

Drag Bingo at Roxy’s Cabaret

When: Tuesday, June 20, 7-9 p.m.
Where: Roxy’s Cabaret, 1333 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis

Raising money for the Pink Cloud Foundation (which provides housing assistance and support for those seeking addiction recovery), this game of bingo kicks of the week of Twin Cities Pride at Roxy’s.

Trivia Mafia Presents “Pride on TV”

When: Wednesday, June 21, 7-9 p.m.
Where: Surly Brewing Co., 520 Malcolm Ave. SE, Minneapolis

Trivia Mafia hosts themed trivia about LGBTQ+ characters and actors in TV and film.

Elevate Pride Trivia Challenge

When: Wednesday, June 21, 7-9 p.m.
Where: Surly Brewing Co., 520 Malcolm Ave. SE, Minneapolis

Trivia all about queer and pop culture, to raise funds to PFund Foundation, supporting LGBTQ+ folks in the Upper Midwest.

Pride Beer Dabbler

When: Friday, June 23, 6-9:30 p.m.
Where: Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, 725 Vineland Place, Minneapolis

More than 70 breweries and cideries turn out for this gathering of beer enthusiasts representing Twin Cities Pride.

Twin Cities Pride Festival

When: Friday-Sunday, June 23-25 (6-9:30 p.m. on Friday; 10 a.m.-7 p.m. on Saturday; 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Sunday)
Where: Loring Park and Parade Park, Minneapolis

The 51st Twin Cities Pride fest features BIPOC and LGBTQ+ vendors throughout Loring Park and Parade Park, which include food courts, a beer garden, and staged performances.

Sober Pride Minnesota & Grilling the Park

When: Friday, June 23, 6:30-9:30 p.m.
Where: Hennepin United Methodist Church, 511 Groveland Ave., Minneapolis

When: Saturday-Sunday, June 24-25, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
Where: Loring Park, Minneapolis (on hill behind the pavilion)

This third annual open event begins Friday at Hennepin United Methodist Church with a presentation by Minnesota Recovery Connection, a call-up for attendees to share experiences, a guided meditation, and more.

Then, on Saturday and Sunday, Sober Pride will be grilling in Loring Park. The tent will serve as a resource hub and a safe space, the website says, for folks in recovery.

GRRRL SCOUT: Pride Summer Camp

When: Friday, June 23, 7 p.m.-1 a.m.
Where: Hook and Ladder Theater & Lounge, 3010 Minnehaha Ave., Minneapolis

The Hook and Ladder block party features DJs, live music and performances, vendors, outdoor games, and Sequeerity team mediators. Food trucks include Bushman Cultural Catering, Loncheria Los Amigos, and the World’s Finest Corndog.

Uptown Rooftop Pride Drag Brunch

When: Saturday, June 24, noon-2:30 p.m.
Where: Uptown Ties Rooftop & Lounge, 1400 Lagoon Ave., Minneapolis

The relatively new spot, featuring food curated by local celebrity chef Justin Sutherland’s concept Northern Soul, also hosts drag brunch.

Team Trans TC Pride Hockey Game

When: Saturday, June 24, 4-7 p.m.
Where: Parade Ice Garden North Rink, 600 Kenwood Parkway, Minneapolis

Back-to-back games feature Team Trans Twin Cities, a Minnesota hockey team featuring all trans and non-binary players. “In opposition to the hundreds of legislative bills threatening transgender lives, this year’s theme is ‘Trans Joy,’” the website says. Admission is free, with a $10 suggested donation.

Palmer’s Pride Party

When: Saturday, June 24, 5 p.m.
Where: Palmer’s Bar, 500 Cedar Ave., Minneapolis

Minniaux, the live entertainment organizer, presents its first Pride event on the patio of Palmer’s Bar. Seven music artists and DJ Nanobyte fill out a local lineup.

Sober Pride Dance

When: Saturday, June 24, 9 p.m.-1 a.m.
Where: Minneapolis Alano Club, 2218 First Ave., Minneapolis

This drug- and alcohol-free event is all about dancing in your most fabulous Pride gear, with a $5 donation suggested.

Pride in the Sky: Rooftop Dance Party & Parade Viewing Party

When: Sunday, June 25, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Where: Crave American Kitchen & Sushi Bar, 825 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis

OutFront and Flip Phone combine for a dance party and some parade views at Crave in downtown Minneapolis.

Twin Cities Pride Parade

When: Sunday, June 25, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Where: Stars at Third and Hennepin in downtown Minneapolis, proceeds down Hennepin to Spruce

Pride Used-Book Sale at Quatrefoil Library

When: Sunday, June 25, noon-6 p.m.
Where: Quatrefoil Library, 1220 E. Lake St., Minneapolis

The Minneapolis community center and library contains archives of queer literature. Stop by for a sale of used books, DVDs, and more.
