What: Cathedral Festival of Lights
When: Wednesday, Dec. 15 through Sunday, Dec. 19 from 6-9 p.m.
Where: Cathedral of Saint Paul, 239 Selby Ave., St. Paul
The Cathedral Heritage Foundation presents the Festival of Lights at the Cathedral of Saint Paul. This year, there will be two light shows: an indoor presentation titled Starry Night and an outdoor show called The Beginning, which will use the Cathedral’s eastern facade as the backdrop to project the Christmas story.

New Exhibit Opens at MHC
What: Our Home: Native Minnesota Exhibit Opens at the Minnesota History Center

Where: Minnesota History Center, 345 Kellogg Blvd. W., St. Paul
The Minnesota History Center’s newest exhibit explores the rich history of Native Minnesotans through the stories, clothing, art, and artifacts of the Dakota and Ojibwe people. The exhibit will continue through the end of January.
A Train Ride with Santa

What: Kamoda Shōji: The Art of Change

One of Japan’s most famous ceramists will be receiving his first exhibit outside of his native country this holiday season. The late Kamoda Shoji’s exhibit at the Minneapolis Institute of Art will feature 49 works of art in the Cargill Gallery.
