Performance Art 

What: Heather Kravas and Victoria Haven: solid objects/SANDWICH
When: Thursday, May 12, 5-9 p.m.; and Saturday, May 14, 1-5 p.m.
Where: Walker Art Center, 725 Vineland Place, Minneapolis  

This upcoming performance is years in the making by Seattle-based artists Heather Kravas and Victoria Haven. The piece combines physical movement with drawing and undertakes issues concerning women’s rights and other social justice matters.  

Banksy Exhibit 

What: The Art of Banksy
When: Opens Thursday, May 12 through Sunday, July 10
Where: Lighthouse ArtSpace, 1515 N.E. Central Ave., Minneapolis

More than 100 prints, canvasses, screenprints, and sculptures of iconic and mysterious street artist Banksy are on display in this collection of privately owned works. The exhibit features iconic works such as “Girl and Balloon” and “Flower Thrower” and focuses mainly on Banksy’s work from 1997 to 2008.

Art Galore 

What: Saint Paul Art Crawl
When: Friday, May 13, 5-9 p.m.; Saturday, May 14, 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Sunday, May 15, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Where: Union Depot, 214 Fourth St. E., St. Paul

Union Depot is hosting the 31st annual Saint Paul Art Crawl. The event will include 30 local artists and a wide array of work. The work includes jewelry, painting, photography, pottery, mixed media, and more.

The University of Minnesota is celebrating children’s health with an agenda full of food and wine. The two-day event supports and acknowledges the work of M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital.

Hot Rods 

What: Twin Cities Auto Show
When: Saturday, May 14-May 22, 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
Where: Minnesota State Fairground, St. Paul 

The 49th annual Twin Cities Auto Show is exhibiting collectible items and demonstrations, selling items for car needs, and providing Minnesota State Fair food items. 

Here Comes the Bride 

What: Minnesota Bridal & Wedding Expo
When: Sunday, May 15, 12:30-5 p.m.
Where: Saint Paul RiverCentre, 175 West Kellogg Blvd., St. Paul 

The Minnesota Bridal and Wedding Expo provides just about everything a newly engaged couple could want. Florists, wedding gown fashion shows, DJs, videography, and more will be included to help those preparing for a summertime wedding.
