Venezuelan singer Nella performs songs from her latest album Doce Margaritas. Nella won a Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 2019 and has since collaborated with Jennifer Lopez, Carlos Vives, Luis Enrique, Susana Baca, and Caramelos de Cianuro.

What: National Book Award Finalist Layli Long Soldier in Red Wing

Oglala Lakota Nation poet Layli Long Soldier is the author of WHEREAS, published by Minnesota’s Graywolf Press in 2017, which went on to win the National Books Critics Circle Award and become a finalist for the National Book Award. Now, Long Soldier comes to Red Wing for a reading, book signing opportunities, and a meet-and-greet.

What: Simpson Housing Service Hosts Music 4 Shelter

Led by conductor Sarah Hicks, the Minnesota Orchestra will be performing Ludwig Göransson’s Oscar-winning score from The Black Panther live in the latest installment of its Music & Movies series.
