The Cowles Center for Dance and the Performing Arts is hosting a day-long virtual benefit on Friday, November 6, with donations going toward the center’s 2020 Fund-A-Need efforts. While the event will be livestreamed for those who want to interact with others in their community, they have partnered with local breweries for a safer viewing experience. General admission is free.

In these trying times, the Comedy Corner Underground presents a roundup of local comedians, both up-and-coming and big-time (as seen on Conan and The Tonight Show) in order to fill your day or night with laughter. Admission is $5 for the month of November.
Christmas Comes Early

The MN Christmas Market is popping up for a holiday-shopping showcase of homegrown brands and makers, with all vendors donating 7% of sales to Hospitality House Youth Development. They are limiting capacity to 250 people at a time, with $1 for admission at the door.
Feeling Fabulous at Fabfest

Anoka-based merchants are inviting you to feel fabulous on Saturday in downtown Anoka, where you’ll find mystery prizes as well as such participating businesses as the French Market, MN Girl, Peterson Shoes, Shop Irish, Antiques on Main, a happy bird, Pineapple Girl, and more.
A Bona Fide Viewing at Sola Fide

The Sola Fide Observatory is open to the public only on select Saturdays throughout the year, one of which just so happens to be coming up. Explore the night sky and discover new and interesting facts with the help of Nature Center staff and volunteers. Know that this event is weather-dependent, so depending on the conditions cancellations are possible. Due to COVID-19, events will be held under limited capacity through reservations.
