Celebrating Cuban Media

What: 13th Minnesota Cuban Film Festival
When: Thursdays, 7 p.m., May 26-June 30
Where: The Main, 115 SE Main St., Minneapolis

The annual festival, hosted by the Minnesota Cuba Committee and MSP Film Society, will take place through the month of June. Six films highlighting social change, human experience, and the achievements of Cuban filmmakers will be shown, with discussions after the screenings. The film ‘El Mayor,’ will show first.

Honoring Veterans

What: Cars and Caves
When: Saturday, May 28, 8 a.m.-noon
Where: Chanhassen AutoPlex, 8150 Audubon Rd., Chanhassen

This outdoor car show features more than 400 collector, classic, and exotic cars and motorcycles. This month, the show honors veterans with a military program and highlights the charity Happy Tails Rescue and Cody’s Heroes, which aims to partner veterans and emotional support dogs.

Outdoor Music Fest
