Nearly 700 guests enjoyed Minnesota Monthly’s inaugural Best of Minnesota Party, on November 30, at Lumber Exchange Event Center, presented by The Saint Paul Hotel.
The Best of Minnesota featured our state – the people, the culture, the landmarks and the spirit. The party was a fun and entertaining evening with exhibitors and sponsors showcasing their brands. The critically-acclaimed food, the award-winning wine, craft beer and cocktails and the exhilarating arts and entertainment, kept our attendees celebrating into the evening.
Participants enjoyed games of chance and skills, celebrity impersonators, photo opportunities and music from Trainwreck Duet and Tim Mahoney. Attendees had the chance to win high valued items such as a Big Green Egg, KitchenAid Dishwasher by Warners Stellian, Weekend Hotel Package by Sheraton Bloomington Hotel & Lela Restaurant, Coastal Seafood and Fortune Fish Gift Basket, and Gift Certificate by Spectacle Shop.
Representatives from the finalists of the Best Minnesota Town contest – Austin, Bemidji, Owatonna, Waconia, and Walker – received a special invitation to attend the Best of Minnesota Party for the grand reveal, sponsored by Old Dutch. Bemidji was named Best Minnesota Town.
