WHY: Five chefs, five pigs, five winemakers, five somms, five barkeeps, and one charity. A culinary competition promotes local family farming and whole-pig cookery through the efforts of five notable chefs, raising awareness and funds for the farmers and start-up farms. Cochon555’s sister charity is Piggy Bank, a start-up farm in Missouri that serves as a kickstarter for new family farms and a safety net for those in the wake of disaster. Learn more.
