Taste of Stillwater 2012

When it comes to the most charming Minnesota towns, Stillwater is surely in the midst. It’s on the St. Croix River; it has history; and it hosts community events like Ladies Night Out and Foodies on Foot—with its second annual festival a reason to visit this very weekend.

Taste of Stillwater is a family-friendly, rain or shine outdoor event with a definite neighborly spirit (a portion of ticket sales benefit Valley Outreach, Stillwater’s nonprofit organization feeding and supporting neighbors in need). This Saturday, bring a blanket, chair, or just walk the grounds of Saint Croix Vineyards and Aamodt’s Apple Farm to take in some highlights of what Minnesota’s birthplace has to offer.

Taste of StillwaterLift Bridge Brewing Company will be serving up its beers for sampling, 45th Parallel will join in with spirits, and of course host Saint Croix Vineyards—along with nearby newbie Wild Mountain Winery—will be serving up wine, alongside these local restaurants and food trucks. (Note: In addition to the tastings, full-size beverages and food will be available for purchase.)

Food:
• Aamodt’s Apple Farm
• Caves of Faribault Cheese
• Culvers
• Mara Mi

• Olive on Tap
• Poorboy Candy
• Rustic Stillwater Pies
• Trinh Food Truck
