In search of the comet Neowise, outdoor and lifestyle photographer Alice Petty visited the Boundary Waters in July. After some rainy nights, the conditions finally improved. “It was such a powerful feeling being alone in the wilderness looking up at a sky full of stars with a comet passing by,” she recalls.
