Home for Life's Fall Fancy Feast

Home for Life’s annual fall event supports animals with special needs

Event: Home for Life’s Fall Fancy Feast was held on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at the Metropolitan Ballroom in Minneapolis.

Reason: Proceeds from the event support more than 200 dogs, cats, and other animals who live at Home for Life, a long-term animal shelter that provides a permanent home and care for animals with disabilities, health issues, or temperament problems.

The Agenda: Animal expert Temple Grandin spoke to attendees, who enjoyed music by Bruce Jackson and the MoonDogs, as well as dinner by D’Amico and a dog parade featuring 15 of Home for Life’s adorable pooches.

Going Once, Going Twice: The silent and live auctions sold two African safaris and an arctic dogsled trip for $6,500 each.
