Boka Debuts Electric Toothbrush That's As Stylish As It Is Safe

In 2015, Minneapolis entrepreneur James Hagen founded dental hygiene brand, Boka, as a stylish, safer alternative to traditional toothbrushes and toothpastes. Recently, the direct-to-consumer startup ventured into new territory with its first electric toothbrush. With its sleek, shapely design and focus on nontoxic products, the high-quality brush stands out from other electric toothbrushes on the market. Like its non-electric counterparts, the electric toothbrush’s brush heads have soft activated-charcoal bristles that naturally kill bacteria.

The toothbrush can be paired with Boka’s minty toothpaste, which contains no fluoride, no sulfates, no parabens, and no artificial ingredients. The paste features nano-hydroxyapatite—a mineral that is found in tooth and bones that was first deployed by NASA to help astronauts maintain strong bone health while they were in orbit. Boka also sells a Teflon- and petroleum-free dental floss that is wrapped in beeswax and expands between teeth.

The electric toothbrush and the accompanying products are available via a quarterly subscription and individual kits (a brush, toothpaste, and floss), plus add-ons, replacements, and refills. You can save 20 percent when you order a year’s subscription at once. Find out more and place your order at boka.com.
