High-end lingerie arrives in the North Loop, just in time for Valentine’s Day. Flirt Boutique, which opened in St. Paul in 2008, has opened its second location in the historic Colonial Warehouse building.
Located around the corner from men’s and home store MartinPatrick3 and women’s clothing boutique Grethen House, Flirt’s new storefront takes full advantage of the space’s unique charm and prime location. Owner Jessica Gerard has paired the original brick walls, wood floors, and tall, exposed ceilings with mint-colored walls, chandeliers, retro pinup wall art, and brass railings.
Like its St. Paul sister, the North Loop store offers some of the most sought-after lingerie and loungewear brands from around the globe.
“I want to sell pieces that are very high-quality, with a very good fit,” says Gerard. “The brands that I carry are tried and true.”
Matching silk-and-lace undergarments by popular brands such as Cosabella and Hanky Panky are stacked neatly on antique tables, while soft cotton pajama sets by Only Hearts and glamorous lace-trimmed silk nightgowns by NKi Mode line the walls. The store also sells lingerie wash products and bags to help keep delicates looking new.
With the opening of the storefront come a few choice additions: Julianna Rae’s silk travel bags and nightgowns, lingerie by Italian line La Perla, French labels Lise Charmel and Maison Close, and sexy British brand L’Agent by Agent Provocateur, which are locally exclusive to Flirt. And for those looking for something truly one of a kind, Flirt North Loop also offers custom lingerie designs by Minneapolis-based brand Jagress Intimates.
