At International Market Square, in Minneapolis, the annual singles charity gala Date for Life, supporting the Children’s Cancer Research Fund, brought out more than 300 guests on March 9 for dinner, drinks, and new connections.
Date for Life founder Lynn Poferl kicked off the evening by honoring her daughter, who was 20 when she lost her fight with cancer. Radio personalities Colleen Lindstrom and Bradley Traynor were this year’s emcees. Surrounded by bachelors and bachelorettes, Eden Prairie cancer survivor Caiah Rodgers lit up the stage by singing “A Million Dreams” from the musical The Greatest Showman.
