Alexander Ramsey House

One of the best preserved Victorian homes in the nation, featuring walnut woodwork, marble fireplaces and chandeliers, this was the residence of Minnesota’s first territorial governor. By the time Alexander Ramsey started constructing his lavish mansion in 1868, the area had become one of St. Paul’s finest neighborhoods.
