John H. Stevens House Museum

Located in Minnehaha Park, this house is believed to be the first home built west of the Mississippi River and home to Col. John H. Stevens who was thought to be the first settler in the city of Minneapolis. During tours, visitors can see displays of the Stevens’ family history and other early Minnesotan families who occupied the house. Free admission.
