Dr. Michael Johnson is an optometrist specializing in LASIK and cataract pre- and post-operative care, as well as comprehensive eye care. A native of western Minnesota, his interest in optometry began early through relationships with local eye doctors in his hometown.
After earning a degree in biology from Hamline University, Dr. Johnson graduated Cum Laude from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. He went on to practice in a variety of clinical settings throughout Minnesota, gaining experience in private practice, corporate eye care, and the correctional system.
In 2017, Dr. Johnson joined Whiting Clinic, where working alongside Dr. David Whiting sparked a passion for refractive surgery. Today, he brings that experience to OVO LASIK + LENS, providing attentive pre- and post-operative care and helping patients navigate their LASIK and cataract journeys with confidence.
