Dr. Troy Loomis is the Optometric Director at OVO LASIK + LENS, specializing in LASIK and cataract pre- and post-operative care, as well as comprehensive eye care. A Maple Grove native, Dr. Loomis earned his undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Minnesota Duluth before attending the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago.
Dr. Loomis began his career in private practice, providing primary eye care, pediatric binocular vision care, and refractive surgical care. After 13 years in private practice, he joined Dr. David Whiting at Whiting Clinic, where he spent the next decade advancing his expertise in refractive surgery and ultimately became Director of Optometry, overseeing daily surgical management. He later worked alongside Dr. Mark Lobanoff at North Suburban Eye Specialists and today brings his extensive clinical and leadership experience to the OVO LASIK + LENS team.
