Dr. David Whiting is a highly experienced LASIK, refractive, and cataract surgeon who has spent more than 30 years helping patients achieve clearer vision. A Stanford University graduate, he began his career in ophthalmology research before earning his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine and completing his surgical residency at the University of Texas Southwestern School of Medicine.
Dr. Whiting was among the first surgeons in Minnesota to perform LASIK following its FDA approval and has since performed well over 130,000 implant, refractive, and LASIK procedures. In 2010, he founded Whiting Clinic to provide patients with a highly personalized surgical experience. Today, he brings his extensive experience to OVO LASIK + LENS, working alongside Dr. Mark Lobanoff and the OVO team to deliver exceptional patient care, advanced vision correction, and outstanding visual outcomes.
