The Facebook event banner for First Avenue’s Shrek-themed rave on Friday reads, “Cool Is Dead!” and “Who Cares!” Nationwide, that’s been the vibe of this very-online-to-weirdly-IRL trend of raves inspired by Shrek, the DreamWorks ogre and post-ironic, Internet Age icon.
