Starting in sales and moving from a buyer and showroom manager to now co-owner, Christina Burns has seen Floors of Distinction grow five times its original size. In its 29 years in the design and retail industry, the company has expanded from a two-person operation to eleven staff members and a large showroom offering residential flooring, counters, backsplashes, and rugs. Located in Maple Grove, homeowners appreciate the showroom’s one-stop-shopping convenience, as well as the staff’s interior design and professional installation services.
Over the years, Burns and co-owner Bruce Beaudoin have forged strong relationships with clients, vendors, and contractors, and kept them inspired with fresh design advice and the latest interior products. The Floors of Distinction team enjoys the creative process that design allows and promises to, as Burns puts it, “deliver happiness” to all their clients. “It’s been a rewarding journey,” says Burns. “My favorite part is celebrating clients’ makeovers when we’re all finished.”
