April 5: Kisa Boutique Edina Opening: Kisa Boutique opens its third location in the Edina 5-0 building on 50th and France. The new store will carry merchandise similar to its other two locations, Ridgedale and the Minneapolis downtown skyway. Kisa is a locally owned boutique with strong ties to the country of Turkey, offering European clothing and accessories made with care in Minnesota and in Istanbul. April 8-10: American Craft Council St. Paul Show: The American Craft Council puts on a three-day festival celebrating all things handmade. With more than 225 top contemporary jewelry, clothing, furniture, and home décor vendors and artists from across the country, you’re sure to find something you won’t find at major retailers. April 8-10: Minnesota 2016 Spring Festival: Consistently ranked as one of the top 100 shows in the country by Sunshine Artist magazine, this festival offers work from hundreds of the nation’s finest artists and crafters. April 9: Lowertown Pop: Union Depot in Lowertown welcomes a St. Paul pop-up maker market, benefiting Face to Face and Minnesota Makers. April 9: Envision Spring 2016: The Twin Cities’ preeminent fashion showcase returns to Orchestra Hall for its fifth season. The show’s designer lineup includes Cory Allen, Emily Trevor, Form over Function, Hiccup by Handley, Jenny Carle, Joeleen Torvick, Kjurek, and Russell Bourrienne, plus boutique Cliché.
