Fans of the Minnesota State Fair’s familiar food offerings, rejoice! The fair, which was canceled back in May, has just announced a drive-thru food parade. The experience features 16 favorite vendors, including Sweet Martha’s Cookie Jar, Mouth Trap Cheese Curds, Que Viet, Turkey to Go, and Tom Thumb Donuts.
The food parade dates will be August 20-23, August 27-30, and September 3-7. Tickets cost $20 for each vehicle of up to five passengers (kids 4 and under are not counted), and food is an additional charge. They go on sale online only at 10 a.m. on July 31 at this link.
Visitors will have to remain in their vehicles for the duration of the one-way, 1.5-mile parade route, and there will be in-car bingo and other activities. Each ticket includes one insulated Minnesota State Fair reusable lunch bag and a “goodie bag” filled with surprises.
The fair asks that participants wear masks while ordering and paying for food.
