Don’t you wish the Minnesota State Fair lasted the entire month of August? Well, if you’re having trouble waiting until Aug. 21 for your favorite deep-fried goodies and foods on-a-stick, you’re in luck.
A few Minnesota (and Wisconsin!) restaurants are serving up Fair-inspired food and drink specials to enjoy all month long, while others are offering elevated State Fair favorites during the duration of The Great Minnesota Get-Together.
Let’s take a look at what’s on the menu:
Earl Giles Restaurant and Distillery
Food:
Porchetta Sandwich: hoagie roll, iron range porchetta, giardiniera, provolone ($17)
Corn Dog: mortadella, pistachio, beet mustard ($15)
Funnel Cake: brown butter caramel, powdered sugar ($12)
Fried Chicken Pizza: fresh mozzarella, dill pickles, special sauce ($21)

Corndog Old Fashioned: Earl Giles high rye bourbon, fried sugar, lil’ smokies ($16)

My Burger
It doesn’t get more Minnesotan than My Burger’s State Fair Burger, a Burger of the Month special featuring an all-beef patty with bacon, fried pickles, cheese curds, special sauce, and topped with a mini corn dog.

Food:
Mini Pineapple Upside Down Cakes On a Stick: Spiced rum-infused cake and caramelized pineapple coated in sweetened tempura batter and flash fried. Finished with Tattersall Sour Cherry glaze and whipped cream ($9).
Drinks:
