Since opening on France & 44th just ahead of a global pandemic in 2020, Foxwell Studio x Shoppe has become well acquainted with reinvention. Six years later, the interior design studio and home goods retailer is in the midst of its biggest evolution yet: relocating to Galleria, a destination that husband-and-wife founders Brad and Heather Fox have long had their sights on.

“We were actually in talks with Galleria back when we first opened,” says Heather Fox, who starred alongside Brad in HGTV’s “Stay or Sell” in 2019. “It has always been in the back of our minds as the right fit.”

The move marks not only a milestone for Foxwell but another step in Galleria’s ongoing transformation. Once defined by luxury brands like Gucci and Tiffany & Co., the shopping center has increasingly embraced local businesses, which now make up nearly 40% of its tenants. Foxwell’s approachable, experience-driven concept fits squarely within that vision.

“It seems like there’s been a shift in recent years where people are craving in-person experiences again,” says Fox. “My two teenagers are actually going to the mall to hang out. I see this glimmer of hope for retail.”

Along with a fresh space, Foxwell plans to further blend its interior design and home goods concepts into one collaborative experience, offering in-store guidance on everything from furniture sourcing and decor styling to full home renovations. Fox also hints at a heightened focus on custom furniture, which will be on display alongside a collection of local artwork at Foxwell’s grand opening this fall.
