The 2026 FIFA World Cup is here, bringing more than 100 matches and five weeks of international drama before a champion is crowned July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Minnesota soccer fans have even more reason to tune in this year: Minnesota United captain Michael Boxall is representing New Zealand, Loons midfielder Carlos Harvey earned a call-up for Panama, and former Minnesota United star James Rodríguez will lead Colombia’s squad on the world stage.
Whether you’re cheering for Team USA, following your favorite international club stars, or supporting a current or former Loon, Twin Cities bars, breweries, restaurants, and outdoor venues are rolling out the red carpet for soccer’s biggest tournament. From iconic soccer pubs and brewery watch parties to giant outdoor screens, here’s where to catch every goal, upset, and celebration throughout the World Cup.
