YOUR TASTEBUDS DECIDE
This is where GrillFest heats up. Guests sample, sip, and vote onsite as top local restaurants and brands go head-to-head in the event’s signature battles. From bloody marys and margaritas to BBQ and burgers, it’s a full-on flavor showdown.
The BBQ Battle is presented by Minnesota Pork, the Bloody Mary Battle by Gray Duck Spirits, the Burger Battle is presented by COUNTRY Financial with support from Performance Food Group, the Margarita Mania is presented by Milagro Tequila.

2025 BATTLE WINNERS
BURGER BATTLE 2025 WINNER: Twin Cities 400 Tavern
The Burger Battle, presented by COUNTRY Financial, brought out the best in beef. GrillFest guests voted Twin Cities 400 Tavern the winner for their perfectly seasoned patty and mouthwatering toppings.
BLOODY MARY BATTLE 2025 WINNER: Kickled Mary
The Bloody Mary Battle, presented by Gray Duck Spirits, celebrated creativity and bold flavor. Guests sampled and voted live, awarding Kickled Mary top honors for their standout mix of spice, tang, and over-the-top garnishes.
MARGARITA MANIA BATTLE 2025 WINNER: Kickled Mary
In the Margarita Mania Battle, presented by Milagro Tequila, local spots brought the heat (and the sweet). Kickled Mary earned the win with their refreshing twist on this summertime classic.
BBQ BATTLE 2025 WINNER: Alary’s Bar & Barbeque
In the inaugural year of the BBQ Battle, Alary’s Bar & Barbeque took home the title with their slow-smoked burnt ends — celebrated for their perfect bark and tender, flavorful bite.
