The Bachelorette says a visit to this popular south Minneapolis eatery is the first thing they’ll do

An interview with Minnesota native and reality TV star Becca Kufrin (The Bachelorette) appears in October’s Minnesota Monthly, and you should read it here. But a few pieces of my engaging conversation with Kufrin can only be found right here. Now that a new chapter begins for her and fiancé Garrett Yrigoyen without the camera present, she has some time to reconnect with her home state. Here are a few of Kufrin’s favorite spots in Minnesota.

Shopping

Kufrin, who’s known for her trademark metallic getups, counted on Roe Wolfe Boutique to prep her closet for the show. “I needed a little of everything, and they helped pull different outfits for me,” she says. She also hits up Covered Uptown for her stylistic needs.

Restaurants

For birthdays and celebrations, Kufrin and her friends frequent Chino Latino in Uptown. When she’s craving pasta, she likes Bar La Grassa downtown and Italian Eatery in south Minneapolis. Where will she bring Garrett for his first Minneapolis meal? “Hola Arepa,” she says. “It’s the first thing we’re going to do.”

Working Out

Becca’s a card-carrying member of Life Time Fitness, but she’s also a fan of YogaFit Studios in Edina. In the fall, she walks around Bde Maka Ska and Lake of the Isles to see the leaves change color.
