1. MLK Weekend + “The 1968 Exhibit”

Saturday-Monday, January 19-21, noon to 3 p.m.

Minnesota History Center, 345 W. Kellogg Blvd., St. Paul

This is the weekend to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and see the History Center’s 1968 exhibit before it closes. There will be art projects and performances honoring the life of MLK throughout the weekend. Make your own 1968 peace sign and bring it home. Learn more.

2. Hockey Day Minnesota

Thursday-Saturday, January 17-19

Lake Bemidji, Bemidji

In the State of Hockey, we have our own day devoted to the icy sport, and we’re celebrating on Lake Bemidji. There will be hockey games through the weekend, including Minnesota high school games, a college game, and a Minnesota Wild game. Learn more.

3. Kristin Chenoweth with the Minnesota Orchestra

4. Capitol Art & Artists Tour

Minnesota State Capitol, St. Paul
