Can Can Wonderland Named One of Country’s Best Mini Golf Venues

Readers can vote for which of 20 nominated venues make it onto USA Today’s 10 Best list

Where is the best place to play mini golf? USA Today is asking readers to weigh in for its annual 10 Best Readers’ Choice poll, where they will vote for which venues make it to the top 10. The outlet recently announced its list of 20 nominees, nominated by a panel of experts—and St. Paul’s Can Can Wonderland is among the group.

In the list, USA Today describes Can Can Wonderland as “a delightfully bizarre entertainment center where people of all ages can play vintage arcade games, catch live entertainment, and of course, play some rounds of mini golf.”

“This award-winning 18-hole course comes straight out of the imaginations of its players—artistic guests have submitted creative ideas like Hole 7’s Blue Toad, which has a long tongue-ramp, and Hole 10’s Hot Tub Time Machine featuring a polka dog named Pinky. The grand finale, the Golden Throne, challenges guests to hit their ball into a gold, gleaming toilet,” the outlet adds.

A few highlights USA Today forgot to mention: Can Can’s admission fee will get you entry to the venue, unlimited free play on 150-plus pinball, video arcade games, and other amusements, and access to any live performances on the schedule. (There are two stages for live entertainment, with shows ranging from comedy, drag, and burlesque to live music and karaoke). Pretty good deal, if you ask us!

There’s also a full bar, tap wall, food menu, and a classic concessions stand with popcorn and ice cream.
