Minneapolis is about to get a new entertainment destination, just in time for Super Bowl Sunday. The Rabbit Hole, the largest sports and live entertainment venue in the North Loop, is set to open on Feb. 7. Spanning 12,000 square feet with a 3,000-square-foot patio coming this spring, this venue promises to deliver an exciting combination of elevated American cuisine, craft cocktails, and high-energy vibes for sports fans, food lovers, and live music enthusiasts alike.
The venue is co-owned by Deepak and Sara Nath, Joe Berg, Thomas Pivec, Craig Dauffenbach, and Jay Ettinger, all of whom bring experience from successful local projects like Bootleggers, The Pourhouse, and The Exchange & Alibi Lounge. Deepak Nath, co-owner of The Rabbit Hole, said in a press release, “We saw an opportunity to create something unique in this neighborhood—a space where fans can come for the game, stay for the food, and keep the energy going all night.”
The culinary program, led by Thomas Pivec, offers an inventive menu that blends local comfort foods with elevated dishes. Game-day favorites include a Jumbo Salted Pretzel with Summit beer cheese sauce, Smoked Chicken Wings, and the 411 Smash Burger, while unique options like the Tuna Poke and 14-ounce Sterling Silver Ribeye will satisfy those craving something more refined. The menu also includes Minnesota classics, such as the house-made Tater Tot Hot Dish. With brunch and more food options coming in the months ahead, there’s always something new to try.
The venue’s craft cocktail menu brings modern twists to classic drinks, such as the RH Old Fashioned made with Rabbit Hole Distillery’s Heigold Bourbon, and the Skrewed Up Espresso Martini made with peanut butter whiskey and espresso. For beer lovers, 12 draft lines feature local favorites like Castle Danger Cream Ale and Fulton Lonely Blonde.
The Rabbit Hole has been designed with style and energy in mind. Guests enter the venue via a staircase that leads “down the rabbit hole,” into a space filled with fun surprises. The venue is equipped with 42 high-definition TVs, a 200-inch LED board, and access to NFL Sunday Ticket and ESPN+ to ensure fans can cheer on their favorite teams. Plus, with a sports ticker and Vestaboards displaying real-time updates and interactive quotes, it’s an immersive game-day experience.
In addition to sporting events, The Rabbit Hole will host live music, trivia nights, and bingo. Weekly events like Trivia Mafia (starting Feb. 25) and Saturday Bingo (beginning Feb. 8) will keep the energy high on non-game days, and cover bands and live DJs will provide entertainment Thursday through Saturday nights. The venue is also committed to giving back, with proceeds from pull tabs and bingo benefiting Firefighters for Healing.
The Rabbit Hole’s grand opening will coincide with Super Bowl LIX, and to celebrate, happy hour will run from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 9. The Rabbit Hole will offer a 25% discount to military personnel, EMTs, and first responders as a thank you for their service.
Located at 411 North Washington Ave., The Rabbit Hole will be open Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m., and Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Happy hour will be available daily from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Reservations are now open for groups of five or more.
