Marvel at the Night Sky in Excelsior

Excelsior is hosting a day of fun on the Fourth of July, with their fireworks presentation being the most anticipated event of the evening. This fireworks show is the only one hosted on Lake Minnetonka, and guests are sure to be in awe of the lake’s bright red, white, and blue reflections.

Enjoy the Dazzling Lights Up North

Duluth’s Fourth Fest is the largest firework display in the upper Midwest. Admission is free, and several local food and drink vendors will be available. Hosted in Bayfront Festival Park, attendees can also catch live music leading up to the fireworks.

Celebrate with the St. Paul Saints

The St. Paul Saints are hosting an Independence Day celebration at CHS Field with a “Fireworks Super Display” following the baseball game. There will also be post-game fireworks on July 3 and 5.

Riverfront Fun in Minneapolis

Minneapolis beloved Fourth of July event—Red, White, and Boom!—is back for another year. From 6-10 p.m., enjoy music, food trucks, and fireworks along the west side of the Mississippi River near the Stone Arch Bridge.

Wave the Flag and Snap a Pic in St. Cloud

St. Cloud’s stunning Fourth of July fireworks display is sure to have you snapping pictures left and right. This annual celebration takes place along the banks of the Mississippi and is complete with food trucks and activities. With the event starting at noon, St. Cloud’s Independence Day commemoration offers a free day of fun!

Plus: Be Amazed at the Aquatennial

While not on July 4, mark your calendar for the Minneapolis Aquatennial’s can’t-miss fireworks show. On July 27, Minneapolis will host the Target Fireworks, one of the top five annual fireworks displays in the country. The show takes place along the Mississippi River, and the shoreline provides the perfect vantage point for witnessing the bright colors reflecting on the water.
