The team behind 801 Chophouse is debuting a new concept on Nicollet Mall this fall—801 on Nicollet, a contemporary American restaurant and cocktail bar opening Thursday, Nov. 6, on the ground level of the U.S. Bancorp Center.

Led by Executive Chef Richard Harrison, the restaurant will serve creative takes on classic comfort fare, including duck potstickers, a shaved-prime rib French dip, and a turkey pesto sandwich, alongside a variety of pastas and composed entrees. Guests can expect lunch and happy hour specials Monday through Friday, plus daily dinner service in an inviting space designed by Minneapolis-based Shea, with renovations completed by Zeman Construction.
The new spot joins its upscale sister restaurant 801 Chophouse just blocks away but aims to bring a more approachable, neighborhood feel to the brand’s signature service and attention to detail. With its fresh design and locally inspired menu, 801 on Nicollet is poised to become a new downtown favorite for both business lunches and evening gatherings.
