Diane’s Place to Launch Dinner Service

The popular Northeast Minneapolis brunch spot will be expanding its menu and hours starting Nov. 9

Since opening in April of this year, Diane’s Place in Northeast Minneapolis has received widespread acclaim from critics and local foodies for its Hmong American brunch fare and pastries. Now, Chef Diane Moua and her team are gearing up to offer dinner service.

“The community support has been extraordinary,” says Moua in a statement. “This menu includes many of my favorite Hmong dishes that I grew up eating. My hope is that it connects our guests to Hmong culture and the rich traditions that inspire our food.”

Starting Nov. 9, guests can enjoy a robust dinner menu with a variety of sweet and savory offerings: warm green scallion croissant rolls, duck stew with Thai eggplant, Hmong pulled pork with ginger, deep-fried bananas with croissant ice cream, and more, plus a few favorites from the brunch menu.

An abbreviated bar menu will be available between lunch and dinner services Thursday through Sunday. New cocktails were crafted in collaboration with Robb Jones and Tyler Kleinow of Meteor Bar.

Reservations for dinner will be available starting Oct. 28.
