Graze 4 Good at the Fantasy Restaurant of the Year

Ladies and gentlemen, do you want to go to Travail? Of course you do, but you can’t get in, can you? Do you want to go to Tilia? Of course you do—but you can’t get in there either, can you? And Piccolo—you want to go there too, but you don’t want to pay for it. I know, it’s been a tough economy. But what if I told you that for one night, one night only, the three marquee chefs from Tilia, Travail, and Piccolo are holding a special snacktackular event where for only $40 you can hear the chefs of the Most Sought After Tables in Minnesota talk about their sourcing and cooking, and more self-interestedly, eat their food? And it’s a ticketed event! You can get in. You can. Until it sells out of course…

The event is on Sunday, March 4, from 4 to 6 p.m., at Spill the Wine, and is being put on by the Minneapolis Foundation to benefit the nutrition charity Graze 4 Good. Chef Doug Flicker tells me each of the three chefs will be serving two dishes, and “there’s a rumor about a kissing booth, which I can neither confirm nor deny.” Could kissing these chefs be even better than eating their food? I’ll let their wives weigh in on that proposition, but till then, this is going to be your best shot at the fantasy restaurant of the year.
