After its locations closed in January 2025, Revival is returning to the Twin Cities Nov. 9. The restaurant, known for its Southern comfort food, was acquired by Jester Concepts, a Minnesota hospitality company founded in 2008.

Revival will take the place of Borough in the North Loop, which closed earlier this year after 13 years of business. Revival classics, like their fried chicken, are back, as well as some new dishes and beverage options. Their beverage selections include Jazzy Belle sparkling wine, Bourbon Sweet Tea, Pryes Thunder Chicken Golden Ale, and shareable cocktail pitchers, according to a press release.

“When we heard Revival was closing, I reached out to Nick and Thomas right away to see how we could help,” Brent Frederick, owner of Jester Concepts, said in a prepared statement. “We’ve always been friends and fans of what they built. Revival is one of those brands that has a special place in the Twin Cities dining community, and bringing it into the Jester Concepts family felt like a natural fit. We know how much this restaurant means to people, and we’re excited to give it the next chapter it deserves.”

For those who still have gift cards to Revival from before its closure in 2025, you can submit your information via a form on the Revival website to carry those funds over to the new location. Reservations are available here.
