Buck Hill: Buck Hill’s annual NYE Celebration is getting even bigger and better this year to celebrate the destination’s 70-year anniversary. There will be late-night skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing until 11:30 p.m., a festive wonderland inside the Hutch Building, face painting, s’mores and hot cocoa, a prime rib dinner, and the grand finale—a midnight fireworks show.
Can Can Wonderland: 7 p.m.-1 a.m.; tarot readers, live music, and free champagne toast at midnight. $20 entry.
Confluence Hotel Roaring 20s NYE Party: Hastings, 8:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m.; Roaring ’20s or cocktail outfit and live music from the 8-piece band Shirts and Skins, DJ, dancing, and a midnight champagne toast. Ticket price includes appetizers, desserts, party favors, and exclusive access to the Speakeasy. $95.
Crystal Ball NYE: The Crystal Ball is the longest-running New Year’s Eve celebration in Minneapolis. This year, count down to midnight from the 50th floor of the IDS Tower, set against the backdrop of floor-to-ceiling windows for skyline views. In the event’s four separate entertainment rooms, you’ll find DJs spinning EDM beats and throwback hits, plus dueling pianos, sing-alongs, bars, and more. Your ticket includes access to all four rooms, various seating options, and a complementary glass of champagne, but reserved-table and dinner-package options are available.
Dakota: Celebrate in style at Dakota, where local band Davina and the Vagabonds will bring their signature jazz-blues sound to the stage. Tickets are available for a dinner show (5 p.m.) and cocktail show (10:30 p.m).
First Avenue: What better place to dance the night away than First Avenue? Grab tickets for A Totally Rad New Year’s Eve with local DJ Jake Rudh spinning tunes.
Granada Theater: In the mood for a retro New Year’s? Try VIC Years Eve at Granada Theater. Step back in time to the era of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr. with an elegant evening of smooth crooning, fine dining, dance lessons, and more.
The Hewing Hotel: The Hewing Hotel’s lobby dance party, NYE at The Hewing (10 p.m.-1 a.m.), will feature high-energy beats from DJ Shiek and a complimentary toast at midnight. On the rooftop lounge, the Champagne & Cityscapes party (9 p.m.-1 a.m.) will offer a sophisticated, intimate setting with panoramic views of Minneapolis, endless champagne pours, a photo booth, and more, plus access to the lobby party. $200 per person. Icehouse NYE Party: 10 p.m.-1 a.m.; InMotion is a monthly themed dance party hosted Icehouse bartender, Jaboidia. $10 advance, $20 doors.

Lebanon Hills Regional Park: Bundle up and celebrate in nature at Lebanon Hills’ family-friendly New Year’s Eve Party. Go sledding, candlelit ice skating, walking, hiking, or snowshoeing, then sip hot cocoa and warm up around the bonfire. Perfect for little ones, this event has a ball drop at 7:59 p.m.
Mara at Four Seasons Minneapolis: 5-course tasting menu featuring tuna carpaccio, Chilean seabass, chestnut agnolotti, dry-aged striploin, and a Valrhona chocolate araguani parfait. Book on tock.
Masa & Agave: Masa & Agave has two New Year’s Eve experiences to choose from. From 5-9 p.m., the NYE Kickoff Party is a great spot to gather before watching the ball drop, with bottomless tacos, elote, churros, chips and guac, and an open bar included in the ticket price. $65 per person. Minneapolis Cider Co.: Casino Royale meets a Masquerade Ball at this New Year’s Eve celebration. For Minneapolis Cider Co.’s New Year’s Masquerade at the Casino, wear your cocktail attire and prepare for a night of card playing, live music, and good vibes.
Minnesota Landscape Arboretum: The whole family is welcome at the Arboretum’s New Years Eve Celebration at Winter Lights. Take a stroll through the magical lights display and enjoy family-friendly games, live music, a photo booth, crafts, and food and beverage options.
Minnesota Orchestra: A ticket to A New Year’s Celebration: Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue includes the orchestra’s performance of George Gershwin’s innovative composition, vintage jazz from Belle Amour, and a complimentary champagne toast.
NYE at Eloise: Wayzata’s newest restaurant will have a special espresso martini menu and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight.
